Dharmesh Mehta to do a show on R.K Laxman's novel

Tellybuzz had earlier reported about Dharmesh Mehta, director of SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah turning Producer coming up with his production house titled named Namanraj Productions.

We too have mentioned about Dharmesh coming up with a new show on SAB TV. A source says, "Dharmesh Mehta has already finished shooting for the pilot of the show and the story is based on a novel by the great cartoonist, R.K. Laxman. The show is tentatively titled R.K.Laxman Ki Duniya."

"It is a show where all the cartoon characters created by R.K.Laxman come out in real and talk with each other in the real world and convey a message in a satirical way", adds source.

We also hear that Dharmesh Mehta, apart from his producer's responsibility, will also start directing Ammaji Ki Galli within a couple of days.

We contacted Dharmesh Mehta and he commented, "Yes, I have completed the pilot for the show and it will be a hilarious flick for the audience. Apart from that the audience has to wait and watch for the show."
