Dhamaka with Indian Idol Prashant Tamang

Last week on Amber Dhara, the twins got to meet a celebrity disguised as a Greek God played by Milind Soman at a masquerade party. And to continue the trend, the show now has roped in the winner of Indian Idol 3 Prashant Tamang to celebrate the Diwali festivities with the conjoined twins. This is really a well deserved surprise for Amber(Kashmira Irani) and Dhara (Sulagna Panigrahi) who have been dreaming of making it big at Tinsel town and meeting the stars of the glamour world.

The girls finally have managed to escape the circus and are now at Akshat's place recovering. It's during this time that they meet Akshat's (Ali Merchant) friend, Prashant, who gives them the inspiration that they were looking for, to continue their journey in the music world. Prashant's is a success story of a small town lad making it big at Indian Idol. Never did this constable whose passion is singing, realize that he would win Indian Idol. Amber and Dhara who are his big fans were enamored on meeting their idol who in turn was all praise for their work.

Apart from Amber and Dhara, Prashant got to interact with Shveta Gulati(Sonia), Ali Merchant (Akshat) and Himani Shivpuri(Dadi). Since this was his first stint at acting, the entire cast and crew were very supportive and helped him with his scene and dialogue delivery. He shot for one episode which also includes the first song from his debut album.

Although being extremely talented, Prashant is a shy person and hence was apprehensive initially on the sets. Once the ice was broken, he lit the lamp and seemed to have a great time celebrating the festival of lights with crackers and fireworks. On his experience Prashant said, "It is a very different experience for me. For the first time, I am interacting with television celebrities. I am actually thrilled to meet them."
