Salman's spokesperson informed IndiaToday.in saying, "Salman will be shooting for a six-day-long schedule for the film over the Christmas week. A pivotal action sequence is being shot in Mumbai, where Salman will be performing stylised action".

Contrary to this, there are reports that Salman will finish shooting these scenes before his birthday and later he will be travelling out of town to celebrate his birthday this year.

Talking about his film Race 3, the third sequel in the Race franchise is being directed by Remo D'souza. On working with a superstar like Salman, Remo had expressed, "If a superstar or a big star is coming into a franchise, it always takes the franchise up. Of course, Salman Khan joining Race 3, it is definitely heading up".
