He may be a fashion designer, but it is on the small screen that Rohit Verma has really made an impact - and that's what he is returning to in a cookery show.

Verma, who has designed for several leading Bollywood ladies and has a show titled "Style Strip" on Zoom TV, will soon be seen on "Welcome: Baazi Mehmaan Naawazi Ki".

Verma, who has been part of reality shows such as "Bigg Boss 3" on Colors and "Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout" on Imagine TV, admits that he knows precious little about cooking - but is still game for the show.

"It's a cookery show, so I will prepare myself in a unique way. Though I am not a very good cook, but I will try my level best. There are my friends who are good at cooking and they will teach me how to cook," says Verma, who played himself in Madhur Bhandarkar's critically appreciated "Fashion".

"Welcome: Baazi Mehmaan Naawazi Ki" airs on Life OK and is hosted by small screen superstar Ram Kapoor.

The show features popular celebrities from TV and tests their hosting, entertainment and culinary skills.

Celebrities such as Debina Bonnerjee, Ragini Khanna, Amar Upadhyay, Karanvir Bohra and Anupam Shyam have so far displayed their skills on the show.
