Deepika Singh slaps Anas Rashid on the sets

What triggered on the sets of Diya Aur Baati Hum? Read to know more -

The news which is becoming a hot topic and talk of the town in the media, currently is Deepika Singh, who essays Sandhya on Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum slapping her co-star Anas Rashid, owing to some ugly incident.

Our reliable source shares, "Apparently the incident occurred when the entire cast was shooting for a combination scene and for the particular scene Anas had to hold her from behind. Thus, citing the reason of touching inappropriately Deepika in a fit of rage, slapped him in front of the entire unit."

"What triggered the matter more is the duo who can't see eye to eye, have lodged a complaint in CINTAA (Cine and TV Artist Association). While the fiasco was taking place the director and Bhabho (Neelu Vaghela) tried to intervene but too faced the wrath from Deepika," adds our source.

"However, the channel is looking into the matter. Media has been banned for a while now on the sets till the time this issue is resolved," ends our source.

For a confirmation we tried contacting Deepika and Anas both, but their phone was not reachable.

We tried calling Neelu Vaghela too, but her phone was switched off. Also, the producer Sumeet Mittal did not revert to our message.

We hope that things get back to normal soon!
