Deepika Singh entered the TV industry in 2011 with "Diya Aur Baati Hum," which enjoyed years of success. Despite the show's popularity, she struggled to secure compelling roles afterwards and cited a lack of interesting offers.

In an interview with one of the leading portals, Deepika Singh expressed that despite being part of a long-running successful show, she did not receive many interesting offers. She mentioned not knowing what didn't work for her in terms of securing roles. She acknowledged that her film "Titu Ambani" was released earlier but didn't create more opportunities. Networking isn't her strength, and she admitted that.

Reflecting on her TV journey, she emphasized the challenges of working in a daily soap, noting the demanding schedules of early mornings to late nights. Despite the success of "Diya Aur Baati Hum," she mentioned feeling mentally and physically exhausted during its five-year run. After marriage, she chose "Kavach" in 2019, appreciating its fixed working hours as a finite series.

Open to TV roles, Deepika emphasized the importance of meaty characters and highlighted a shift in the industry's preference for younger actors in lead roles. She acknowledged the benefits TV provided but stressed the need for substantial roles.

Addressing online trolls, Deepika Singh shared her experience with social media criticism for her Odissi dance videos. She stated that she is an Odissi dancer who enjoys posting dance videos, expressing curiosity about why some people have a problem with it. Despite encountering nasty comments, she asserted she does not let trolls bother her.

Regarding her recent social media activity, she explained a reduction in posts due to focusing on dance theory exams but assured a return to activity soon.
