Woot Woot!! The couple smitten in love for six long years is now officially married. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married at Lake Como in Italy yesterday. Following Deepika's Konkani legacy, the marriage took place with all the south Indian traditions yesterday. The rituals were followed to the tee and as the highlight of a south Indian wedding is the bride, our Deepika was the center of attraction.
While following the ritual of Kanya Aagaman, where the bride walks into the mandap with the sound of happiness all around. For Deepika's wedding, it was Shubha Mudgal who lent her voice and made the Kanya Aagaman all the more beautiful.
Today, the Punjabi traditions will be followed and an Anand Karaj will happen where the bride and the groom will take the vows to be with each other with Sindhi rituals. Yesterday after the ceremony, all the South Indian delicacies in food were served to the guests. Today the Punjabi tadka will be on the menu.
Deepika and Ranveer will return to India on 18th of November and then they will host the entire B-town to a treat for celebrating their love.
