Deepika Padukone to serve as a presenter for Oscars 2023; Ranveer Singh has a proud reaction

Deepika Padukone is one of the top actresses in Bollywood currently. The actress has made a mark for herself not only in the nation but globally. She has been rapidly climbing the ladder of success swiftly and also enjoys a massive fan base. Yesterday, the actress took to her social media handle and announced her participation in the Oscars 2023 as a presenter. 

Both Deepika Padukone's fans and her friends in the film industry are incredibly enthusiastic about her big announcement. In the list, her name features along with Riz Ahmed, Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Ariana DeBose, Samuel Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B Jordan, Troy Kostur, Jonathan Majors, Melissa McCarthy, Questlove, Zoe Saldana, and Donnie Yen. 

As Deepika Padukone announced the major announcement, her followers and friends congratulated the Bollywood diva on her big feet on her official Instagram account. But her spouse, actor Ranveer Singh, attracted our attention with his remark. The happy husband posted on his wife's Instagram account, using the emoticons "blessed" and "clapping" to show his pleasure. Deepika's sister Anisha Padukone commented: "Boom (fireworks emoji)".

On the professional front, Deepika was last seen in the blockbuster hit film 'Pathaan' alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Currently, she is filming for 'Fighter', where she will share screen space with Hrithik Roshan for the first time. The Siddharth Anand directorial also stars Anil Kapoor in a pivotal role. Apart from this, Deepika will also be a part of 'Project K'. The Nag Ashwin-helmed film also features Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas in significant roles. The film is slated to hit the big screens on  12th January 2024.
