Deepika Padukone REVEALS that she was ADVISED to get a Boob Job

The actress further stated how she too has faced sexism and happened to share her own incident.

Deepika Padukone gave us all a boost when she came out in the open and openly spoke about her depression. Post this revelation; there was nothing that could stop Deepika from expressing her heart and mind out.

With the current uproar of the #MeToo movement where numerous Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities are taking to public platforms to share about their sexual harassment incidents, it is Deepika Padukone this time who shared her sexual encounter.

Bollywood's Queen Deepika was in a conversation with Hollywood's leading daily Evening Standard where she was asked if such an outcry would be possible in Bollywood. Accepting that the scenario is the same here as well, she expressed, "We're in the same position as the rest of the world, I think we're all in this together. There's so much more awareness. There are so many people who speak up and I think in the same way that we see the wheels moving in the right direction globally, I see the same thing happening in India as well".

Further giving out the details of her own incident, Deepika Padukone revealed, "There were lots of things I was advised [to do]. To get a boob job, do the beauty pageants. They felt it was the right way to be recognised or picked up by a Bollywood director or producer. It might be an easier way to achieve what you want to achieve. But I haven't been that person; I've always followed my gut".
