Deepika Padukone gives an INTERESTING reply to Swara Bhaskar's letter

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus film 'Padmaavat' had its share of massive protest before the release of the film but after the release, it has come out strong. This Deepika Padukone - Ranveer Singh - Shahid Kapoor starrer has been receiving praises from all over!

However, looks like problems around Padmaavat are not going to die down soon. At first, it was Karni Sena who still kept on agitating against the film even after its release and later Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar wrote an open letter expressing her disappointment with the film.

The feminist slammed the film and stated that she felt like a Vagina after watching Padmaavat. When India Today asked Deepika Padukone about her opinion on this letter, she said, "Swara probably missed the disclaimer at the beginning of the film". BANG ON!

The queen further justified saying, "You probably went out to buy some popcorn and missed the initial disclaimers that come out. I think, secondly, the fact that it is important to view a film in totality and to see in which period it was set in. Third of all, I think for me this film is not just about the act (Jauhar) that they all committed, but it stood for so much more. For me, it's a celebration of women and their strength, power & dignity".

Padukone makes a very valid point here and not only here but many people from the industry have found Swara's opinions baseless.
