Deepika Padukone announces re-release of Piku in THIS month; Remember co-star Irrfan

Deepika Padukone announced on Instagram today, April 19, 2025, that Piku will be re-released in theaters for its 10th anniversary. The film will return to the big screen on May 9th. A video featuring Amitabh Bachchan included the following message: “Namaskar. Piku, yaad hai? Piku, Bhaskar Da, woh gaya tha road trip pe. Nahi maloom? Yeh dekhiye (Hello. Piku, remember? Piku, Bhaskar da, they went on a road trip. Don't you know? See this).”

The video highlighted some of the movie's most memorable moments. Big B then said, “Dekha? Bahut badhiya raha yeh road trip. Jitna unpredictable tha utna hi unforgettable tha. Ekdum emotion tha, hasi mazak tha, tension bhi tha (See? This road trip was great. It was as unpredictable as it was unforgettable. There was a lot of emotion, laughter and fun, and also tension).”The actor announced the film's return to cinemas.
