Debina Bonnerjee Choudhary on her Birthday today!

Birthdays are special and this holds true for both young and the old. Birthdays take you down the memory lane and the excitement of celebrating this very special day. On the same we got in touch with the gorgeous and talented Debina Bonnerjee Choudhary on her birthday today to know about her plans for the day and the way she wishes to celebrate her special day.

It is your Birthday today, how are you feeling?
Birthdays are very special for me and so I am feeling very special today. There was a party organised for me by Gurmeet and one of my friend. We were discussing about the birthday plans but I thought it would not work out as were were shooting for Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati, so we dropped the plan. I and Gurmeet planned to go for a dinner after the Nach Baliye – Shriman vs Shrimati shoot. But there was a surprise for me, when I went with Gurmeet to the restaurant. I found all my friends there who were later joined in by the Nach Baliye group. I had a fantastic time and all the credit goes to Gurmeet and my friend.

Your most memorable birthday so far?
Some 7 years back, Gurmeet had planned a big surprise for me. It all started when he came home and told me that there is a surprise for you. I was sitting and crying in my room asking him to tell me the what the surprise was (laughs). I laugh when I think of that day. We were at the verge of breaking up as I had a fight with him that day as he was not telling me what the surprise was. That is when Gurmeet said that I want you to see the surprise first and after that we can end the relationship. I agreed and when I went with him, I was thrilled and amazed to see the surprise. At the back road of Lokhandwala there were so many Band Bajaa people drumming on the melodious sound. My friends were also there and I loved the surprise very much and after that the stupid thought of breaking up never came (laughs).

The Birthday gift that you will never forget?
It has to be the pair of Boots that Gurmeet gave me on my birthday years back. I still have them with me and I also wear them. For me they are very precious then any diamonds and expensive gifts that Gurmeet later gave me.

How are you planning to celebrate your birthday on the sets of Chidiya Ghar?
Well I am sure that the team of Chidiya Ghar has planned something for me as we plan out something for everyone's birthday on the sets. I will come to know about the same when I reach the sets.

What are your plans for the day?
Well after the shoot I will have to go for the rehearsals for the dance performance along with Gurmeet for the Women empowerment show which we will be doing. For us commitments matter a lot, we can't let people suffer or work hamper due to our personal celebrations. I and Gurmeet had already taken an off yesterday from our daily soap shoots as we had the last day shoot for Nach Baliye – Shriman vs Shrimati, so we don't like putting our producers in a hassle because of us.
