Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer 'Dear Zindagi' that released this Friday is receiving applauds from everywhere. And the reason for this is not only the fabulous performance that Shah Rukh and Alia have given but also for the strong content and message that it beholds!

So, we list down 5 reasons why we feel that every parent and youngster must watch Dear Zindagi...

Easy solutions to deal with a heart- break:

Every child goes through an emotional break down when they have their first heart-break. And the reason for their heart-break need not necessarily be their girlfriend or boyfriend; it can also be their family. And Dear Zindagi perfectly explains this! Shah Rukh Khan has beautifully given a solution to deal with such a crucial situation where the family itself is the cause of Kaira (Alia's character) pain and fears.

How to mend broken Parent- child relationship:

Not every child shares a good relationship with their parents. Many of them have a very strained one and here again, SRK has explained it well how to break the ice and have a friendly relationship with your parents because at the end they are ones who are going to be besides us in our worst times.

Rubbishes stigma around Mental illness:

Along with giving solutions to deal with troubled love life, 'Dear Zindagi' also rubbishes the stigma around mental illnesses. The main focus of the film is not to look down on a person dealing with any kind of mental illness. Instead of labeling them as psychopaths, we need to help them get out of it.

Even though Alia's character is going through a rough patch in the film, the director tells her audience that you don't need to have hit rock bottom to seek help.

Accepting Homosexuality:

Homosexuality is a term we still don't freely discuss with our parents or any other family member. But, Dear Zindagi has tried to educate the audience that it's okay to talk about your sexuality. And before explaining to the society, it is important that we ourselves accept the way we are!

The film is written and directed by Gauri Shinde who previously helmed a fantastic movie, 'English Vinglish' which too gave a fantastic message to the masses. And in 'Dear Zindagi' too, she has tried her best to give innumerable lessons for day-to-day life. With this subtle story of a young and ambitious girl Kiara, Gauri has managed to bring a small difference in the society.

The film also received a massive opening at the Box office on its first day!
