Darshan Dave tipped to return with BAG Films' next on Star Plus..

TellyBuzz had earlier reported about BAG Films coming up with a political thriller on Star Plus, tentatively titled Jalte Hain Jiske Liye.

We now bring you the news that the channel and production house are in talks with Darshan Dave to play the male protagonist in the show.

A little  birdie tells us, "Darshan Dave who essayed the Bihari Don's role perfectly in the successful Sahara One show Ghar.. Ek Sapna is the first choice for the lead role. In the new Star Plus show, the male lead is supposed to be the rough and tough politician, and there is a general consensus that Darshan would fit the bill perfectly".

We contacted Darshan Dave who told us, "I had been away from acting for the past one year. I have got back to Mumbai just two months back. Yes, it is true that I have been approached for the role. However, I need to get a longer brief on the character and all other things need to fall in place before I give my consent".

Let's see whether Darshan gets back to the small screen with yet another challenging and powerful role..
