CONFIRMED: Not Vrushika Mehta, but this actress is roped in opposite Kunal in 'Ishqbaaaz'..!

We do not know about the major search operations several militants go through. But, we can safely say that the search operation for the girl to be playing Omkara's (Kunal Kulbhushan Jaisingh) love interest in 'Ishqbaaaz' has been an extensive one.

Actress Vrushika Mehta was roped in for the show and then exited, as the makers were not too happy with their choice. What followed was an array of names being popped as to who will be the NEW girl.

Several actresses like Sana Amin Sheikh and Helly Shah were considered for the role. However, this tedious search operation has finally come to a conclusion.

And according to a leading news daily, the actress who has been finalised to play Omkara's love interest is none other than actress Shrenu Parikh.

Yes! That's right. Shrenu is best remembered for playing the lead role in the sequel to the cult show, 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon... Ek Baar Phir.'
