Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 2: Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna's Historical Drama Breaks Records

Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s latest historical drama Chhaava continues to soar at the box office. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film has shown strong momentum in its first two days. According to early estimates, the film has already collected ?67.5 crore net in India.

Chhaava made an impressive opening on Friday, earning ?31 crore on its first day. It surpassed Gully Boy, which previously held the record for the highest Valentine’s Day opening with ?19.40 crore. The film gained further traction on Saturday, collecting ?36.5 crore net, pushing its total to ?67.5 crore in just two days. The movie had an overall occupancy of 44.18% for the Hindi version.

With this, Chhaava has become the highest opening film of 2025, beating Sky Force, which had earned ?15.30 crore on its first day. The movie is expected to maintain its upward trend over the weekend.

Rashmika Mandanna, who plays Maharani Yesubai in Chhaava, recently shared her excitement about portraying the historical character. She posted behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the film’s set and wrote.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, Chhaava also stars Akshaye Khanna and Diana Penty. Vicky Kaushal plays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, while Akshaye portrays Aurangzeb and Diana plays his daughter, Zinat-un-Nissa Begum. The film’s music and background score have been composed by AR Rahman.
