Chetan Bhagat has his eyes set on Kangana Ranaut!

Chetan Bhagat has been in high, considering each of his books has been adapted into a movie. Currently he is in the US, where the filming Mohit Suri's Half Girlfriend, is going on. Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will be playing the main lead in the movie.

Chetan is writing his next book One Indian Girl. Even before he has finished the book he has already finalized the leading lady for its film adaptation. Apparently Bhagat has sent Kangana Ranaut, the manuscript of his book, and she is said to have loved it. She called the bestseller author and said, "Did you really write this? It's a wonderful book, a must-read! I'm definitely playing the lead whenever you turn the book into a film."  

A leading daily got in touch with Chetan Bhagat to confirm the news, an elated Chetan said, "Kangana is an icon, one of the finest actresses today. Stories and scripts mean a lot to her. She is known for her take on feminism and honest opinions and for her to praise my book and want to do the film is a huge compliment. I am really thankful to her for joining me."

Kangana who was going to leave for the US in September to start shooting for Hansal Mehta's Simran; has now postponed her plans so that she can launch Chetan's book on October 1^st.

One Indian Girl is story of a strong independent girl who struggles to find love. Kangana who will be seen in Vishal Bharadwaj's Rangoon, would most probably start shooting for Bhagat's film towards the end of next year.
