Checkout: The FIRST LOOK of 'Pehredaar Piya Ki Season 2'

A few months ago, producers, Shashi and Sumeet Mittal were embroiled in a controversy over their show, Pehredaar Piya Ki. The show, which saw an 18-year-old girl Diya (Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar) get married to a 9-year-old boy Ratan (Afaan Khan) under unavoidable circumstances was not received well by everybody, especially the Rajput community. 

The show abruptly ended in the month of August without a legitimate climax. But the makers promised to return back with a new season, a new concept and the same cast. 

And as promised, the show is back with a bang. The channel released the first look and it is as grand as ever. 

The sequel (which will have a different name) will be back in November.

Actor, Rohit Suchanti has been finalised to play the male lead in the show. However, there is no clear picture on what the story's plotline will be for the sequel.
