Charu Asopa clarifies she doesn’t stop Rajeev Sen from meeting their daughter: 'He would stay with us..'

The separation of Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen is well-known. After marrying in 2019, they separated in 2023 and have been co-parenting their daughter Zaina, who resides with Charu. Recently, in a YouTube vlog, the actress clarified that she has always allowed Rajeev to see Zaina, even after their divorce.

The actress responded to comments suggesting Zaina lacked a father figure. During her vlog, Charu clarified this wasn't true, explaining that Rajeev frequently visits or calls them.

“I have been reading comments when Ziana hugged her Mausaji, there were people commenting that she was missing the father figure. But I think you all didn’t see the previous vlog, she hugged her masi the same way. Whenever she loves someone and meets them after long, she hugs them all with the same warmth. She isn’t missing any father figure. And if there is anything like that, she can talk and call," she said.

“Rajeev also calls her, video calls also happen. Aap log itna hyper mat kijiye. Agar kisine jhoote interviews de diye toh iska matlab nahi hai ki sach badal jayega. Even after our divorce, I have been there at many occasions, we even went on vacations together. We have been there, jab bhi unka Mann karta tha woh aa jate hai. Unke convenience pe. He would stay with us for the whole day. There hasn’t been anytime that there have been any boundaries or limitations. He can come and meet whenever he wants," the actress added.

Charu criticized women making negative remarks, and she shared, "Aurat pe ungli uthana bohot asaan hota hai, even women gather up in making the other woman guilty. I don't care about it anymore. You can say what you want."

Charu Asopa has relocated to Bikaner. Previously, she discussed her move from Mumbai with ETimes. “Living in Mumbai is not easy; it costs money. For me, the monthly living cost came up to Rs 1 lakh -1.5 lakh, including the rent and everything, which was not easy. Furthermore, I would rather not leave Ziana alone with a nanny when I am shooting in Naigaon (Mumbai). It used to get extremely difficult. Moving back home and starting my own thing was completely planned; it wasn’t a rushed decision."
