'Chandramukhi 2' starring Kangana Ranaut to postpone its release date?

Bollywood and horror-comedy enthusiasts will have to wait just a little longer for the highly-anticipated release of 'Chandramukhi 2,' directed by P Vasu and starring the dynamic duo of Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut. While initially slated for a September 19 release, the film has now been rescheduled to hit theaters on September 28, as per a tweet by industry tracker LetsCinema.

Although neither the film's cast nor its makers have officially confirmed the rescheduling, speculation has been rife about the reasons behind this shift in the release date. Some voices on social media have suggested that the strong opening of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' on September 7 may have influenced the decision. It's worth noting that Kangana Ranaut herself recently shared a heartfelt note on her Instagram Stories, applauding Shah Rukh Khan after the release of 'Jawan.'

However, another plausible explanation for the delay, as reported by 123 Telugu, could be the production team's need for extra time to enhance the film's visual effects. This time around, the film boasts a stellar cast with Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in the limelight. Produced by Lyca Productions and Subaskaran, 'Chandramukhi 2' is set to captivate audiences in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.

As fans eagerly await the revised release date for 'Chandramukhi 2,' Kangana Ranaut continues to be a force to be reckoned with in Bollywood, with upcoming projects such as 'Tejas' and 'Emergency,' where she will portray the iconic role of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, marking her debut as a solo director.
