Car from 'Pannaiyarum Padminiyum' features in a car rally

The Premier Padmini car that prominnetly features in forthcoming Tamil drama "Pannaiyarum Padminiyum" participated Wednesday in a car rally here with 50 similar vehicles. The event was flagged of by the film's lead actor Vijay Sethupathi.

"The vintage Padmini car from the film along with 50 other Padmini cars featured in a rally. Vijay Sethupathi along with the film's director and producer flagged off the event near a hotel on Old Madras Road," said a statement from the film's production house.

Directed by debutant Arun Kumar, "Pannaiyarum Padminiyum" is the story of an old man, played by Jayaprakash, and his love for the vintage Padmini car.

Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in the role of a driver in the film, which also features Iyshwarya Rajesh, Neelima Rani and Sneha.
