Sobhita Dhulipala dropped a pic on her Insta on December 2 from her pre-wedding bash. The soon-to-be bride was stunning in a red traditional attire, posing with her fam and wedding crew.

Sobhita captioned the pics as "Pelli Kuthuru." This pre-wedding event is a meaningful tradition in South India. It's a special ceremony for the bride and her family. It happens before the wedding, where the bride receives her wedding jewelry. Elders bless the bride, wishing her happiness for her new journey.

Before the main event, the duo began their pre-wedding celebrations on November 29. Leading up to the wedding, various pre-wedding rituals are observed following Indian customs. Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya participated in the haldi ceremony too. Both sides of the family joined in the festivities.

Just before their wedding, there were rumors swirling that the couple had sold their wedding film rights to Netflix for a massive Rs 50 crore. However, the Thandel actor refuted these claims during a conversation with Zoom. "This is false news. There is no such deal," he added.

Chaitanya also opened up about excitement for the wedding day. "It's been lovely getting to know Sobhita and her family over the past few months. Watching the families interact has been a joy. I'm really looking forward to the wedding day, experiencing the rituals, and seeing the families come together," he added.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have been together since 2022. They took their relationship to the next level by getting engaged on August 8, 2024, in Hyderabad, surrounded by their family members.
