Star Plus' Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai has been grabbing the news headlines since the time its concept has been revealed.  Also, the show's casting has caught the viewers' eye after the makers have roped in good names like Surbhi Jyoti, Shoaib Ibrahim, Sharad Kelkar, Shaleen Malhotra and Mita Vashisht.

And now, another key character's casting has been accomplished by the makers of the show. Actress Ekroop Bedi, who was last seen on screen in Star Plus' Chandra Nandini, has been roped in by the makers for a very pivotal role.

Ekroop will be playing the role of Chanda, the caretaker of the house in which Geetanjali (Surbhi Jyoti) and Abhimanyu (Shoaib Ibrahim) live. And, post the death of Abhimanyu, Chanda will be the one who will take care of Geetanjali and will be seen offering her solace in her lonely times.

When we contacted Ekroop, she said, "Yes, I am a part of the show and very excited. My role is very crucial to the show. I hope my fans like my role in the show."

The show will go in air from the 25th of this month and will telecast in the 9pm to 10pm slot on weekends.
