Breaking News: Lajwanti to go off air!

Zee TV's popular show Lajwanti, which was launched with high expectations and garnered a good response initially, will soon go off air. The show is a period drama that dates back to the era when India and Pakistan weren't divided into two countries. Actor Sid Makker and newbie Ankita Sharma play the main leads in this romantic saga .

Our source informs, "Lajwanti is going off air soon. The show will telecast its last episode on 5^th February. The show was any ways a finite series, but it didn't really work out with the production team."

We contacted Ila Bedi Dutta, the producer of the show, who confirmed the news, "Yes, the show is going off air. It was a finite series and is now ending. It depicted my grandfather's story."
