Box Office Update!

Usually films based on the patriotic theme don't make good collections at the Box Office. But, this time round with 'Airlift' the case seems to be completely different.

The movie that's based on the real life story of air evacuation of the Indians during the Iraq- Kuwait war is speeding towards the 100 Crore Club.

Here's the Box Office Collection of 'Airlift' from its release date i.e 22^nd January, 2016 till today:

On 22^nd January, 2016 i.e. on Friday the movie started with a slow pace and collected 12.35 Cr. On the second day that is on Saturday it moved a notch higher collecting 14.60 Cr. Owing to the weekend the BO collecting saw a jump on Sunday with 17.35 Cr.

The start of the week again saw a down fall with just 10.40 Cr. But, again on Tuesday the graph saw a high shift and the public holiday did reflect directly on the collections making it 17.80 Cr on the 26^th of January.

So the total collection sums up to 72.50 Cr. as per India biz.

Looking at these number it can be predicted that Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur starrer 'Airlift' is all set to create history by joining the 100 Crore Club even after being a docu- drama!
