The movie garnered ₹4.14 crore at the domestic box office on its fourth day, bringing the total collection in India to ₹26.73 crore as of Tuesday. Starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles, "Zara Hatke Zara Bachke" is set in Indore and revolves around the story of a married couple, Kapil and Somya, played by Vicky and Sara, who are on the verge of getting a divorce. The film hit theaters nationwide on June 2.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the movie's poster and provide updates on its performance. He noted that "Zara Hatke Zara Bachke" managed to keep its investors happy on its crucial fourth day, showcasing a strong hold on a working day following the weekend. The film's collection figures were mentioned as follows: ₹5.49 crore on Friday, ₹7.20 crore on Saturday, ₹9.90 crore on Sunday, and ₹4.14 crore on Monday, resulting in a total of ₹26.73 crore at the box office in India.

Adarsh further highlighted the film's solid performance in mass pockets and single screens, along with its steady run in national chains at weekday rates. The movie experienced a decline of only 24.59% on Monday compared to Friday, which is considered excellent. The collection figures for national chains were mentioned as ₹3.35 crore on Friday, ₹4.55 crore on Saturday, ₹5.78 crore on Sunday, and ₹2.38 crore on Monday.

Maddock Films, along with co-production by Jio Studios, is the production banner behind this romantic comedy. Apart from Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan, the film also features Inaamulhaq, Sushmita Mukherjee, Neeraj Sood, Rakesh Bedi, and Sharib Hashmi in supporting roles.
