Bidaai not going for extension; to end on happy note

Star Plus and Rajan Shahi's 'Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai' is all set to bid adieu to its audience this November. Though were on to extend the serial to few more months, the channel and production house have taken the decision to pull off the show .

A source says, "Initially the news was out that Bidaai will go off air by 13th of November but later on it was heard that the show has got extended till next March as the channel was also ready to deal with it till next few months. However, we hear that the production house rather wanted to end the show on a high note, when it is giving good TRPs, rather than stretching the show beyond limits".

"Another reason to close the show was also the storyline as there was nothing to simply extend the story. So the extension till March was cancelled and now the show will go off on 13th November on a happy note," adds source.

We contacted Angad Hasija but he was clueless about the developments and says, "I really don't have any idea what's going on. So I am really confused to comment on this matter."

While Sulagna Panigrahi says, "Yes, today itself we got the confirmation about the show going off air on 13th of November and also about its cancellation of extension. So now planning for a small outdoor with my family after 13th November."

We contacted Rajan Shahi, the Producer of the show but he refused to comment.

Ironically, as per today's ratings, Bidaai still continues to be one of the top shows across GEC's and sits cozily at the no.4 position.

As reported earlier by TellyBuzz, 'Bidaai' will most probably get replaced by yet another big project by Sphere Origin which consists of Rahil Azam and Mansi Parekh as their leads.
