Get ready for a nostalgia-filled adventure as Amazon Prime Video is all set to premiere the Indian reboot of the iconic 80s Japanese game show, 'Takeshi's Castle.' Amazon Prime has unveiled the premiere date with a fun-filled teaser that promises to retain the wacky charm of the original series. The show will feature actor and content creator Bhuvan Bam, who will revive his beloved BB Ki Vines character, 'Titu Mama,' to provide a unique Indian perspective to the show.

In the teaser, viewers are introduced to Titu Mama, who humorously dubs himself as a 'shoe-stopper' while working as a shoe salesman. However, his mundane daily life takes a hilarious turn when the Yakuza, notorious Japanese gangsters, unexpectedly abduct him. The reason behind this unexpected encounter is Titu Mama's debt to the Yakuza, which he must repay in a rather unconventional way – by voicing the Hindi reboot of 'Takeshi's Castle.'

The teaser offers a glimpse of the zany challenges and obstacles that contestants will face, just like in the original show. Over 100 participants will rush through a series of wild and wacky challenges, all in pursuit of the coveted prize money of one million yen. While Bhuvan Bam's character provides a humorous and unique Indian perspective, it is revealed that he is sharing his commentary under the Yakuza's watchful eye.

Prime Video shared the teaser on their page, cheekily mentioning, "that wasn't very professional of them (we're just happy it's happening) 🤪 Takeshi's Castle ft. #BhuvanOnPrime, Nov 2." It's evident that the reboot retains the essence and energy of the original show, promising an abundance of entertainment and laughter for viewers.

'Takeshi's Castle' is a part of Prime Video's festive line-up for the Great Indian Festival 2023. The eight-episode series will be available exclusively for viewers on Prime Video in India starting from November 2.
