'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' to get on floors by 2024; Bhushan Kumar confirms of Kartik Aaryan being the lead actor

After 15 years, the popular comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa, starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan, received a sequel in 2022 with Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu. Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, one of the year's greatest moneymakers, acquired the label "blockbuster" for its success at the box office. The horror comedy performed successfully on television and online, demonstrating the audience's acceptance of the genre. There have been multiple rumors on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 over the past six months. And now producer Bhushan Kumar finally confirmed it in a recent interview that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will go on floors by 2024. 

Talking about the same he said that Kartik Aaryan and him will be working on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 indefinitely. They are currently determining the gap between part 2 and part 3. The bar has been set extremely high, so they are currently considering how to move the franchise forward. The team is now working on the script. 

He also added that, everyone involved with the project agrees that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 needs a bold, original idea and now that it is an established franchise, there will be expectation around it. 

“We are targeting to release the film in 2025 and start it by second half of 2024", Bhushan quoted to Pinkvilla.

Speaking of Kartik, the actor has an exciting lineup ahaed. He is now wrapping up the filming of Sajid Nadiadwala's Satyaprem Ki Katha, and he is also gearing up for his upcoming project with Kabir Khan. The movie is billed as a sports drama that travels around in time.
