'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' and 'Kabir Singh 2' on the cards; producers give a green signal

After the definite success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 , producers Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani have confirmed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. They also hinted that Kabir Singh will be rolling in for a franchise.

The second installment of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, helmed by Anees Bazmee, was recently released in cinemas, and audiences have responded positively to the flick, which stars Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu. Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani, the producers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, have indicated that the franchise will be continued. They also said that Shahid Kapoor's 2019 film, Kabir Singh, could become a franchise.

"I believe our film Kabir Singh can absolutely be spun into a franchise," Bhushan Kumar told Pinkvilla when asked about films that should be converted into franchises. It's a memorable character who may be used in a sequel. Murad Khetani also mentioned that the persona is well-liked. He also expressed his desire for Bhushan to make Aashiqui 3 as soon as possible.

"We are absolutely moving forward with the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. There is ample scope in the premise, and we will release more information when the time comes,"

they said, according to the report.

Within six days of its release, Kartik's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 collected 84.78 crore at the box office. It has been one of the highest opening weekends of any Hindi film this year.

The first film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, was released in 2007. Priyadarshan helmed the remake of the 1993 Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu, which stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and Shiney Ahuja in prominent roles.

The 2019 film Kabir Singh was likewise a remake of the Telugu film Arjun Reddy, and also starred Kiara opposite Shahid. Sandeep Reddy Vanga directed the film, which was a box office triumph.
