'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' crosses the 150 crore mark; is on a rampage mode in the third week

T-Series & Cine1 Studio's blockbuster BhoolBhulaiyaa2 is on a rampage mode even in its third week. This KartikAaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu starrer emerge to be a true entertainer of the year as it crosses a massive ₹ 150 CR. mark at the box office.

Holding steady in the theatres despite new releases, this horror-comedy produced by Bhushan Kumar & MuradKhetani, directed by AneesBazmee continues to score big as it collects ₹ 5.71 CR on day 17. The week collection of the film landed at  ₹ 92.05 CR, followed by a gross collection of  ₹ 49.7 CR in week 2, and now standing at the strong figures of ₹ 154.82 CR. in its third week.

The film is a standalone successor to Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and Ameesha Patel's 2007 film of the same name. In the sequel, Kiara Advani and Tabu joined Kartik in the lead roles.

For the unversed, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor, Kartik Aaryan is being quarantined after contracting Covid. "Sab kuch itna Positive chal raha tha, Covid se raha Nahi Gaya," he posted to notify netizens that he would not be able to perform at the International Indian Film Academy Awards 2022.

In the meantime, Kartik has Shehzada in the works, the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. He also has a bunch of other projects viz Captain India, Satyanarayan Ki Katha, and Freddy and an untitled romantic project with Kiara Advani.
