Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has been making headlines for quite some time now. From the show taking a generation leap to the actors of the show abruptly calling it quits, the Bhavika-Hitesh starrer has been a hot topic of discussion for the viewers of the show.

Well, the recent buzz surrounding the show is that the show is all set to go off air. It was earlier also reported that the makers are all set to take a generation leap too. India Forums got in touch with our well placed source close to the show, who then further gave us shocking details on the said rumours. Confirming about the show taking a leap, the source said, ''Yes, the news of the show taking a leap is true, we are planning to take a leap. However, it will not be a generation leap. It will be an altogether new story with a new cast, we will not be continuing the story with Savi further.''

We then asked the said source about the news of the show going off air. Replying to the same, the source said, ''Why would it go off air? With a TRP like 2.3? Why would the makers do this? All this news is being spread by people who's recommendations for the new leads are rejected. We are not doing anything of this sort, this is false.''

The second generation of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin saw Bhavika Sharma and Shakti Arora as the new leads. Post another small leap, Shakti was ousted from the show and Hitesh Bharadwaj was roped in to play the new lead.
