Bhaskar Bharti completes 100 episodes

Sony and DJ's Bhaskar Bharti completes 100 episodes this week. The whole team celebrated it with a small party that had cake-cutting by the show's lead girl Ragini Khanna.

Ragini says, "The hundred episodes have been super-exciting. Of course, some episodes were challenging but overall it has been more fun than I thought. My favorite episode is the second episode," she adds naughtily "because that's when I made my entry."

According to our source, the 100th episode is full of emotional drama and chaos. The source says, "On the 100th episode, Bharti convinces Omkar that the food is actually made by her. Omkar tells her to start feeding the Brahmins in 5 minutes, which Bharti starts doing immediately. After a few goof-ups all the Brahmins finally lose their cool, get up in the middle of the meal and move out stating that they have never been so insulted in their lives and that this family just might never get a grandson considering the Apshagun done by Bharti."

Adds the source, "Madhusudan instructs his wife Rajkishori to immediately start a maha-jaap to counter the Apshagun Bharti had brought over the family. Omkar losses his cool and asks Arman to leave, to which Arman retorts by saying that he would do it right away. Rajkishori immediately starts preparations for the maha-jaap and Bharti starts putting all the dirty utensils in the kitchen, taking out her frustration. She spots some leftover kheer starts eating hungrily when KK appears and tells her that she has to follow nine virtues of womanhood and only after she followed them, would she get the nirvana from her curse. On the other side of the house, Rajkishori begins her maha-jaap and instructs Bua to not let Bharti near the pooja-room."
