Bhagyavidhaata to go off air on April 15th..

COLORS and Shreya Creations' Bhagyavidhaata which has had a decent and successful run till now will go off air on April 15th. In an industry where shows are forced to wrap up every 3-4 months due to non-performance, Bhagyavidhaata has managed a run close to two years.

The story which went thro' a generation leap last year did have its share of good moments. Of late, the rating of the show has dipped as a result of which the channel has decided to end it.

Our source states, "The promo of Rashmi Sharma's new show, Sasural Simar Ka is already on air. The show is supposed to launch in mid April. Bhagyavidhaata will end on April 15th. However, the new show cannot take the 7 PM slot as the production house already has Saathiya Saath Nibhana airing at the same time slot on Star Plus. Considering this, the channel will have to change the time slot of an existing show to make way for the new launch".

When contacted, Richa Soni the protagonist of Bhagyavidhaata said, "Frankly speaking the show has had a good run. I have always been loyal to the show and have learnt a lot from this experience. I believe that all good things have to come to an end, but having said this, we have not got any official confirmation on it".

Producer Sheel Kumar too remained clueless about such a development.
