#BestOf2017: Fresh Pairings of TV that surely sizzled on-screen this year!

With a couple of fresh pairs to choose from, we list down the best lot.

This year saw quite a few additions to our TV screens, both in terms of shows as well as actors who made their debuts. Trying new concepts and experimenting with fresh pairings can often cause major risks, but, as far as 2017 is concerned, the year turned out to be rather enthralling as far as new pairings are concerned.

We were spoilt for options, but we did manage to list down the top 6, thereby listing down pairs we think are the best of best.

Kunal Kulbhushan Jaisingh and Shrenu Parikh in Ishqbaaaz

Kunal and Shrenu's duo was introduced with Ishqbaaaz spin off Dil Boley Oberoi, and though the show went off air, the two continued to wow the viewers as Omkara and Gauri with Ishqbaaaz. Moreover, with all the popularity that Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna hold as Shivika, theirs has been a pairing that has received widespread love and recognition.

Shraddha Arya and Dheeraj Dhoopar in Kundali Bhagya

Shraddha and Dheeraj's chemistry in Zee TV's Kundali Bhagya has been a total charmer, and the same has materialized in the ratings of the show as well. Preeta and Karan make it to our list, courtesy their on screen rapport which has sure won a million hearts.

Aditi Rathore and Zain Imam in Naamkarann

A rather underdog show, Aditi and Zain's pairing in Naamkarann as Avni and Neil did create a wave of its own. With a beginning that wasn't very strong in terms of TRPs, the post leap story with Zain and Imam was a super hit with the audience.

Sheen Das and Akshay Mhatre in Piyaa Albela

Being the dark horse in our list, the show did vow us with its out-of-the-box concept and a pairing that was not only fresh, but also the one that shared an amazing off-screen chemistry. In fact, the TRPs of the show have also gone up, and the show has made a smashing entry into the top 10 shows.

Ashi Singh and Randeep Rai in Ye Unn Dino Ki Baat Hai

Ashi and Randeep as Naina and Sameer in Ye Un Dino Ki Baat Hai have redefined love stories with the kind of simple and sweet chemistry that the two share on-screen. As said, this is the story of the makers, Shashi and Sumeet Mittal themselves, we sure do get the 90s vibes with the kind of build up that has been given to the lead pair.

Aalisha Panwar and Arjun Bijlani in Ishq Mein Marjawan

Making a debut as the female lead, Aalisha paired with Arjun in Ishq Mein Marjawan at first did seem to be rather unconventional, but over time and a couple of weeks into the show, we are sure that theirs will be a pairing that will help the show generate good numbers in the future.

Rishi Dev and Mohena Singh in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Post Naksh (Rishi) and Keerti's (Mohena) marriage in Yeh Rishta, the Star Plus show has centered around the duo's track along with Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira's (Shivangi Joshi) story running alongside. A much loved duo on screen, the two have garnered immense appreciation from the viewers.
