Breakups are always heartbreaking, especially when it's about the TV couples, whom we have seen together both on-screen as well as off-screen. When their hearts break, the fans are left equally heartbroken because somewhere, even they begin to feel happy for all the 'in love' couples.

2016 has been a year of breakups. Here are some of them which sure came across as major shockers!

Their's was sure a heartbreaking separation. After having taken the decision to separate from each other, they did decide to give their relation one last chance in the form of show Nach Baliye. Seeing things proceed, we sure had begun to see a light of hope for their relation, but, it was only this year that they mutually decided to separate ways.

The hush-hush relationship that they were in, they never came out about it in the open about the same. When the news of their breakup came to the fore, it sure was a huge shock for all. Both the actors, however, chose to not comment on the same.

Ever since they were first seen in Pavitra Rishta, their chemistry was class apart. After being together for more than half a decade, the news of their breakup had broken more than just their own hearts. As much as the viewers were looking forward to their marriage in 2016, the news of them separating ways came as a shocker; the reason, however, remained not so clear.

Yet another shocker came across when the duo parted ways. Their love-story took off when sparks flew while they met at a gym. Things, however, did not work well and they called it quits.

Theirs might seem to be a typical out of the Bollywood sort of breakup, where Kavita claimed to have parted ways on account of their religion difference. Nawab however, contradictedthe same and went on to mention that they broke up long time back and not this very year.

Actors falling for each other post becoming co-stars is nothing new, and theirs was no different. It, however, did not last for long, and things turned sour later. Asmita, later on, went on to say that they are now no longer in contact with each other and have totally broken off all ties.
