Earlier, child artists often went unnoticed. Blame it on the bigger names or just how the television industry works! But Between the kitchen politics and engaging reality show content, television is gradually making way for young talent. And the child stars are far more glamorous now.

From portraying historical characters to playing intense roles on TV, these young guns are no less than household names and are immensely loved for the way they enact a character.

Juggling school schedules and shoots, these young stars are slowly creating a niche by being a part of some unconventional content we see on TV today. They have been a part of the most socially relatable topics such as child marriage, bonded laborers to the concept of a child widow and have mesmerized the audience with some impeccable acting skills and are now ruling the television screens!

As we come to the end of this year, let's take a look at the child artists who ruled 2016!

Aryan Prajapati in Ishqbaaz on Star Plus:

This smartie is a like a fire cracker in the show! His protective nature and possessiveness for his sister Anika (Surbhi Chandana) makes you laugh in admiration. Apart from television shows, the little one made his Bollywood debut this year in Baaghi, featuring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor in titular roles.

Arsheen Naamdar in Naamkarann on Star Plus:

Arsheen Namdar, the newly found of Mahesh Bhatt, created headlines in the industry for her acting prowess and cute looks. Playing Avani, Arsheen enacts the struggle and fights of every girl who goes through the struggles as she fights for her legitimacy and identity.

Kashvi Kothari in Devanshi on Colors:

Earlier, she has done shows like Adhuri Kahaani Humari, Sasural Simar Ka and Santoshi Maa, Kashvi beautifies the show as she struggles to survive the superstitious beliefs and the people's belief in the God woman - Kusum Sundari. Kashvi beautifully projects how an innocent and naive girl used to manipulate political decisions!

Mahira Khurana and Tehseen Shah in Shakti on Colors:

The two girls had the right charm and innocence to portray the character, certainly a very good casting call! Mahira pulled off the plight of a girl facing her father's hatred, for reasons unknown to her, with ease and grace. Tehseen played along pretty well as her sister and the two made a good and likable combination.

Saniya Touqueer in Waaris on &TV:

Saniya Touqeer is a well-known child actress who made her debut on small screen with the childhood role of Anarkali in Indian historical drama 'Jodha Akhbar'. The girl is known to be extremely hardworking and groomed herself well by doing yoga, acrobatic, push-up, rope climbing, cartwheel, and crunches for the role. She even loved her long tresses but for her role, she had to chop it off.

The child actress was praised for playing Mannu in the social drama Waaris and was appreciated specially for projecting the problems Manpreet goes through living in disguise of a boy - Mannu.

Aren't these blooming actors too good to be true?
