#BB9 5 things that prove Bigg Boss is getting too desperate to spice up the show!

This season of Bigg Boss is not doing so great. Due to multiple reasons the show is failing to create good content and entertain the audience. Desperate times have called for desperate measures and these measures seem to have lowered the standards of the show even further. Here are 5 things which prove Bigg Boss is getting way too desperate to save the sinking ship.

1.       Changes in timeslots.

What used to be a proper 1 hour show has now become a 45 minutes show. The lack of content and entertainment quotient in the show has resulted into the relative reduction in the time duration of the show.

 

2.       Salman Khan on Mondays.

Since the contestants are unable to garner good viewership on weekdays, for the first time in the history of BB seasons, the host will be seen on Mondays now! Salman Khan will be seen adding content to the show even on Mondays. The show hopes that more footage of Salman Khan will be able to attract more viewership on week days as well.

 

3.       Overdose of Wildcards!

Wild cards are supposed to add more drama and action to the show. But as they say-too many cooks spoil the broth. After already introducing 4 wild card entries back to back, there are now rumours about a fifth wild card entrant entering the house soon! Instead of loading the show with random wild card entrants, the show should focus upon stirring up the house by introducing exciting and interesting tasks instead.

 

4.       Cheap tasks.

The tasks given to the contestants are getting cheaper day by day. From gross tasks like passing fish with your lips to belly sucking and now erotic lap dances! Bigg boss seems to be using it's last resort by engaging into anything and everything that promises to rise the TRP's  of the show. The lust task however, was the final blow and a complete turn off which came across as a cheap resort to make up for the lack of creativity!

 

5.       Guests, audience and the host begging to the contestants, "Content Do!"

Things like these are meant to be conveyed and taken care of, off screen. But looking at the dipping viewership, every guest.. every caller.. and even Salman himself, is constantly reminding the contestants to bring a spark to the show. What is the point of watching Bigg Boss if there is no drama or Masala on the show?
