Barkha Bisht Sengupta missed out on being part of Mahesh Bhatt's biopic on Star plus!

There has been a lot of buzz in the media of late, about a biopic being made on the director, producer, screen writer and philosopher- Mahesh Bhatt. The show will be featured on Star plus and is being produced by no one else, but the man himself, along with Guroudev Bhalla and Dahavl Gada. Many known actors have also been approached for the show.

We also hear that Barkha Bisht Sengupta was also one of the actors, who was approached for the show but things didn't worked out for her. The makers had approached her for an important character but Barkha was not able to take up the show, as she is already shooting for Sony TV's 'Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanumaan'.

We contacted Barkha who confirmed the news to Tellybuzz, "Yes I have been approached for an important character, but things didn't not work out as I am currently shooting for Hanuman. Actually my stint in the show initially was only for three months but has now got extended as the show is also doing really well. "

Viraf Phiroz Patel has been approached to play the main lead on the show.
