Balika Vadhu to see a pivotal character's EXIT!

Colors' Balika Vadhu was recently plagued with rumours of one of the main leads of the show, Avinash Sachdev being unhappy with his track. Now, there are reports in the media about actress Smriti Khanna, who plays Vandana, quitting the show. 

Smriti Khanna is the latest to join the list of actors that have quit their show owing to creative dissatisfaction. With the current plot of the show revolving the leads, Mahhi Vij and Ruslaan Mumtaaz, there is nothing much left to do for Smriti. 

Smriti confirmed her exit to an online entertainment portal and was quoted as saying that it was a mutual decision that was taken by her and the makers. 

Balika Vadhu recently entered the Limca Book of Word Records for being the longest running daily fiction soap. The show was launched in 2008 and has had a successful run ever since.
