Balika Vadhu has given me an identity - Roop Durgapal

In a chat with us, Roop talks about her journey, memories and more...

Sharing her journey of Balika Vadhu, Roop says, "It has been an amazing and enriching journey. It was never work for me, instead it has always been a learning experience for me. Nothing could have been better than Balika Vadhu, today where shows go off air within three months, so completing 12 and a half month is an achievement for me."

"Balika Vadhu gave me the opportunity to essay a character having different shades. I was a spoilt brat, then a obsessive lover, later my character turned as a positive one. I want to thank my director and creative because they have helped me in shaping up my character," she adds.

Roop has fond memories attached to the show and she also feels that her co-actors, have left their acting mark through which she can improvise her skills too. Talking about the same, she says, "There are lots of memories attached to show. This show has given me a new identity of Sanchi and I love when people call me by this name. On the sets every body used to call me Sanchi and I am going to miss this. My co-actors Sriti Jha, Shashank Vyas, Sudhir Pandey ji have left a great impact. I really respect Sriti, she is a nice actor and a very good human being."

What kind of roles will  Sanchi prefer doing in future? "In future, I would take up a lead role and portray the role of a strong girl."

"My fans have been very sweet to me, I loved the way they used to send my pics of each episodes. Keep loving me like this throughout," she concludes conveying a message to her fans.
