The actor, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming movie Dream Girl, opened up about his first time experience of becoming a father on the sets of Dance India Dance 7. The 34-year-old actor was rendered speechless by a performance and recalled the time when he turned a father for the first time. Remembering he had none to turn to at that time, he said, "I was just 27 and my friends were not even married." But his father, Astrologer P. Khurrana, dearest came to his son’s rescue and advised him, "He told me that I will understand how much he loves me only after I become a father myself." Ayushmann further added that he felt like he was "reborn as a person."

Well, isn’t it true? All our parents have told us the exact same thing at some or the other point in our life.

The Article 15 actor married his childhood sweetheart Tahira Kashyap, in 2008 and became proud parents to a baby boy Virajveer Khurrana and later a baby girl Varushka Khurrana.

Earlier in an interview with Times Now, Ayushmann had opened up about how his kids deal with his stardom. He also revealed that his children are young and don’t get his films completely, so, they don’t watch any of his films. He had shared, "They (his kids) have this sink link that I am an actor and they are proud of it but they don’t see my films because they don’t understand my films as of now, they are too young for that.

"But, I am sure in future they will be proud of my films. Being a young parent it becomes difficult for me because I am part of the young brigade of the contemporaries who are part of the new wave of Indian cinema and I have to do like good cinema and work hard towards it and right now we are just 24x7 working and shooting back to back films, it is difficult to strike that balance between professional and personal life."
