Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday speak up about the challenges & strengths of being a woman

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is all set for the release of his film 'Dream Girl 2bringing 'Pooj Back with more drama. He has received an overwhelmingly positive response from the fans for the movie. The Dream Girl series offers a very distinct story from the films that Ayushmann usually does. Also, the trailer of Dream Girl 2 has left audiences in fits of laughter with its side-splitting comedy and stellar cast. 

Well, now in a recent conversation with India Forums, the actors opened up on the challenges of being a woman.

Talking about the same Ayushmann said"I think being a woman it's a difficult thing; our society sadly is a male dominated one. Waqt lagega hume nari pradhan samaj me jane ke liye There's also a line in the film "ladki banna mushkil hai aur ladki hona Aur bhi zyada mushkil hai. I think voh female gaze bohot important hai humare flimon mein, life mein. And being a feminist, I think ye hona chahiye progressive thought ke liye, ek achi generation ke liye. I think we are moving towards that."

While Ananya said, "I mean there are many difficulties, I mean be it fear, you are always scared, lots of insecurities, lots of societal expectations, lots of pressure lot of things that you are told ke ese hona hai, waise hona hai. Sometimes you have to stop working if you are married. Lots of things there are beauty standards. and the list can go on and on forever. And biggest issue for me is the safety of women. But there are some joys of being a woman, you can be a mother, you can be so many things, that empathy, that love, that soft heart that women have. I am very lucky that I was born with that."
