Ayushmann & Aanand L. Rai share a note of gratitude on receiving positive response for ‘An Action Hero’

Currently, Ayushmann Khurrana is basking in the success of his film ‘An Action Hero’. The film also starring Jaideep Ahalwat in a prominent role was released on 2nd December in theatres and have received rave reviews from the audiences as well as critics. The film is touted to be an action thriller directed by Anirudh Iyer, written by Neeraj Yaadav and produced by T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions. 

Now that the film is receiving a good response from the audiences, Ayushmann Khurrana and producer Aanand L. Rai have issued a joint note on their social media handle showing gratitude to the audiences about their response and also talking about how the film is a special one to them. 

The note read, “During the entire journey of An Action Hero it really felt like we were the newest students of cinema and were all set to make something really exciting and new age. As a team, we are always aligned and inclined to try and cause creative disruption. From Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and now An Action Hero, we have tried to give audiences something new to savour and discuss through our brand of cinema. So, we are humbled with all the positivity and the strong word of mouth surrounding An Action Hero. We hope this snowballs into more and more people coming to the theatres. We have always wanted to tell stories differently and back projects that are fresh, that are unique & clutter-breaking. We are grateful for the love that's coming our way for An Action Hero. It validates our stance of walking the road less travelled, to take risks and hopefully contribute to making our industry a more diverse storytelling entity. Talking about Ayushmann’s future projects, he will next be seen in the film Dream Girl 2, which is the sequel to his initial film Dream Girl. 

The film has a steller cast and will be releasing on 7th July 2023.
