Axe to fall on Apno Ke Liye Geeta Ka Dharmyudh?

After the axe fell on Colors' early evening show Maati Ki Banno, it's now the turn of Zee TV and Shreya Creations' Apno ke kiye Geeta ka Dharmyudh to face the music.

A little birdie says, "The channel has apparently decided to end Geeta, as there is not much scope for the show to proceed in terms of story line. Bhagonwali - Baante Apni Taqdeerwhich presently airs at the 6pm slot will now be shifted to the 6.30 pm slot of Geeta".

If sources are to be believed, Geeta ends on 6th May, and Bhagonwali will occupy the new slot from 9th May.

When contacted, Sargun Mehta protagonist of Geeta seemed clueless of the development.

Producer Sheel Kumar told us, "Talks are on with the channel, but nothing is decided".

We called and even sent a text message to Sukesh Motwani, Fiction Head, Zee Tv, but we did not get any revert.

In Bhagonwali, we hear tht Guddu Shukla (Himmanshoo A malhotra) will now become responsible and will start a small business of his own.

As for Geeta's future, we await the confirmation from the channel.
