Avika Gor on completing 20 years in the industry "My Biggest Learning Has Been to Keep Learning”

It’s Avika Gor’s birthday today, and it’s a day of double celebration marking not only another year of her life, but 20 incredible years in the entertainment industry. It’s a moment of pride, reflection, and immense gratitude.

“My biggest learning has been to keep learning,” Avika says, “No matter how much I achieve, there’s always something new I want to explore.”

Her journey is one of bold choices. From a successful start in Hindi television to venturing into Telugu cinema, then trying her hand at micro-series production and now even writing a thriller novel, Avika has always carved her own path. “I love experimenting. I go all out. It may not always lead to success, but at least I know I did it on my terms,” she says.

The idea of doing what feels right, even if it’s not ideal, has been her guiding principle. “I’ve made a lot of choices where people said, ‘Are you sure?’ But I never wanted to live with regret. That’s what keeps me going.”

She also shares a beautiful lesson about not taking things too seriously. “You can’t hold on too tightly not to success, not to failure. You treat everything as part of the job, and you keep moving forward.”

And forward she is indeed moving towards upcoming reality show, Pati Patni Panga, where she stars alongside her fiancé Milind Chandwani. “It’s a very special project personal and professional worlds coming together. It doesn’t get better than this,” she says with glowing excitement.

From acting to producing, writing, and beyond Avika’s hunger to learn is her superpower. “I’m proud of how far I’ve come,” she says. “But more than that, I’m excited for everything that’s still ahead.”
