Atypical Ends With S4!

A laid-back light-hearted adventure of Sam's life is about to come to an end. Atypical, as the name suggests, successfully gave a taboo topic a realistic, lively approach with storytelling. However, the show will end with its fourth season preparing to premiere in 2021. 

Atypical is a story of a young autistic Sam and life around him. From graduating school and getting into college to finding love  while dealing with autism, much of which is outside of the realm of “typical” human is a story not simple to live. Atypical beautifully got its audience hooked from the start. In the last aired season, which released in November 2019, Sam started his first year of college while his mom Elsa started her journey of self-discovery as her children(Sam and his sister) became more independent.

"I'm thrilled we'll be doing a season four of Atypical. And while I'm so sad to be nearing the end of this series, I am extremely grateful to have been able to tell this story," series creator showrunner Robia Rashid said in a statement. "Our fans have been such beautiful, vibrant supporters of this show. Thank you for being so open to Sam's voice and stories, and those of the entire Gardner family. I hope that the legacy of Atypical is that more unheard voices continue to be heard and that even after this series ends, we keep telling funny, emotional stories from underrepresented points of view."
