Actor Atul Kulkarni recently travelled to Kashmir, just a few days after the tragic terror attack at Pahalgam, which shook the entire nation. His visit was not just about showing solidarity but also about spreading a message of hope and love. In his heartfelt interview, Atul urged everyone to visit Kashmir and experience the warmth of its people, who are trying hard to heal after the recent violence.
During his conversation with ANI, Atul shared the emotional impact of his trip. He said, “I will take a lot of love with me (from Kashmir). The way all these people are meeting me, it is visible in their eyes that they are sad right now, but as soon as I meet them and share my purpose of coming here, they smile. They say this is very important, you should tell people to come here. You should tell people that they are safe, and we will take responsibility for them. I think that the message I will take with me is that there is a lot of love here, a lot of hospitality, it is very beautiful, but the people here are even more beautiful…”

On Instagram, he shared a glimpse of his travel from Mumbai to Srinagar. His posts included a picture of his boarding pass, snapshots of an almost empty flight, and a touching note from the flight crew encouraging visitors to return to Kashmir. In his caption, he wrote, “Mumbai to Srinagar. The crew says they were running full. We need to fill them up again. Chaliye ji, Kashmir chalein.” His quiet but strong message urged people not to abandon the beautiful Valley in these difficult times.
Upon reaching Pahalgam, Atul posted images of the now deserted tourist spots, reminding everyone of the region’s silent suffering. However, he also captured the beauty that Kashmir still holds — from the flowing rivers to the blue skies. Another emotional highlight was when he shared pictures of local Kashmiris holding placards that read, “We condemn this attack,” while proudly waving the Indian flag — a true sign of resilience and hope.
To remember, on April 22, terrorists attacked tourists at Baisaran meadow in Pahalgam, leading to the tragic loss of several Indian lives. Atul’s visit was a powerful reminder that Kashmir’s spirit remains unbroken.
