The counting down has begun for the premiere of John Abraham's action movie Attack, in which the star represents a super-soldier. The film's cast members have been on a promotional bender for the past few days, preparing for the big actioner.

According to the latest sources, the film was expertly cut and compressed into a 105-minute length, or 1 hour 45 minutes. The director of the film Lakshya Raj Anand shared his views on the idea of creating a fast-paced film.

“I do feel some films drag in their narrative and the best way is to do things in the shortest time. We live in the world of Instagram, where everything is instant. So, instead of giving the audience the time to be distracted, we worked extra hard to not make the dialogues too long",

 he said.

He places high importance on the audience's time. They have faster cuts too, he says, explaining his filmmaking method. This has enabled them to deliver the story faster. He also has the impression that his attention span is a little short. He gets bored fast, so telling a tale in the best possible way while simultaneously keeping the audience involved was a challenge for him.

The intensity in the Attack trailer has caused quite a stir. Lakshya, who has worked as an assistant director on movies such as Ek Tha Tiger and Bang Bang, reveals his stunt-shooting technique. The young generation has begun filming films with fewer camera setups, resulting in far crisper views.  A large film camera knows no bounds.  Attack went through a special procedure of filming all those stunts, Lakshya explains.

The film, starring John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Rakul Preet Singh in the pivotal roles will be released in theatres on April 1st.
