Asit Modi talks about his journey with Taarak Mehta...!

SAB TV's most lovable show Taarak Mehta starring Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) and Dayaben (Disha Wakani), has completed 1700 episodes making it SAB TV's longest running comedy show. On this occasion, we got in touch with the mastermind behind the show, Asit Kumarr Modi.

It feels great!  I believe working as a team has helped us reach so far and so I would love to work the same way ahead. every individual who is part of the show deserves credit for its success today. Infact I think this is the first ever show on television which has not included a single leap in its long journey and is still running successfully. There are a lot more interesting stories coming up to entertain our viewers.

With the upcoming episodes, they will see different parts of our country in our show. We are now set to start the outdoor shoot where we will go to many different places in India, which has never been shown in Taarak....Not only this there are many more new developments in the story line. We are also planning to showcase a good and long sequence of Patrakar Popatlal's (Shyam Pathak) marriage by the end of this year.

Our viewers are our inspiration, also the India- forums fans when they comment about the show it brings an inspiration for us. I am glad to see so much of love and affection from them, it motivates us to to work harder, to live up to their expectations and to return their love. For our audience, this is the only show which the entire family can sit together and enjoy. These words mean a lot for us and we are motivated to keep bringing something new and interesting for them. Hence, we would like to thank all our fans for liking the show and encouraging us.

Writing comedy is not an easy task, so I would like to especially appreciate our writers who manage to engross our viewers with fantastic comical scripts. 

There have been so many but if I have to pick one then definitely it has to be when PM Narendra Modi nominated our team as one of the Navratnas for Swatch Bharat Abhiyan. It was such a proud moment for me and my entire team that the PM has chosen our TV show to motivate the viewers.  This shows that the show is able to captivate the attention a huge amount of people. Infact this is not only mine but the entire teams' memorable moment when 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' became a nation pride.

No doubt! Why Taarak is loved so much!
